Exploring Cataclysm

Ok, we've covered that I really don't know anything about World of WarCraft, let alone the Cataclysm expansion. I really am a laymen in its purist form, at least when it comes to this game. That is part of the fun though, isn't it? Since Cataclysm is the newest addition to WoW, I feel that this is a good place to start. While it might seem like I'm in, in the middle of the story... it does help that all of the characters are new to me. All of the recent changes to World of WarCraft aren't necessarily "changes" to me. So why not, right?

Deathwing's Destructive Wake

The expansion's storyline unfolds centered around the leader of the black dragonflight, Deathwing, who is also known as "The Destroyer." Deathwing is but one of five Dragon Aspects in the World of WarCraft, and was formally known as Neltharion the Earth-Warder. Most recently Deathwing has risen from presumed death, and wreaked havoc across the surface realm of the world. This is the very same world where the majority of game play takes place and is called Azeroth. The scorched, molten, and reshaped face of Azeroth is now the setting of the new WoW expansion.
