Zygors Guide To Leveling Review

You gotta face the facts: Leveling fast is important sometimes and it can also be a pain in the butt. Maybe not always, but there are times when you just wanna get the task OVER so you can get ON WITH IT ALREADY!!

That's where Zygor's guide to leveling comes in. It's an addon program that's easy to install and integrates seamlessly with the game. It's the ONLY guide that works with both Alliance and Horde and it gets updated whenever anything major is added, such as the Cataclysm expansion (LOT of changes in that one!).

The features are solid and include having customized way-point arrows that will work in any zones, plus in-game guide viewer and talent advisor, auto quest tracker, and much more! Works with carbonite, recruit a friend and heirloom items too! It seems intuitive as well and will adjust if you level too quickly.

As a bonus the package also comes with free lifetime updates, and other WoW guides, such as inscription profession leveling, food and drink stats, death knight class guide and a bunch more. It's a lot of stuff!!

There are also some short strategy tips to check out on this page.

See you in the game!!

Cinematic Art of World of Warcraft

The Cinematic Art of World of Warcraft

The Cinematic Art of World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King
The book The Cinematic Art of World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King is yet another piece that adds to my constant amazement of the community that surrounds the Wolrd of Warcraft. I was poking around on Amazon.com to price out strategy guides for the most recent release, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. I was curious to just see the cost of these guides. In my returned results was this book: The Cinematic Art of World of Warcraft.

In one of the reviews on the product, a designer and artist named Jon Huff picked up the book because he had an interest in the concept art. The CGI images are what piqued this gentleman's attention, and he did not play the game until after his book purchase!

Yet again, in these same testimonials a person named Lauren was not a player of the game and bought this book! Lauren's interest came from an aspiration of being a video game concept artist. Lauren really enjoyed the technical aspects of the book, from the sketches to the music, to some of the special photo quality prints included in the book.

The book seems to have really good customer reviews. Out of the six people who took the time to leave a review, four of them left a 5 star review. The other two left a 4 star review. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Like I have said in the past, in this post and earlier posts, I am amazed by the ability of Blizzard Entertainment to draw people in with this game franchise. The sense of community can be an infectious draw for some, while exciting game-play may be the appeal to others. Yet another element is the amount of tireless dedication and pure love that goes into the artistic aspects of the game.
